Equipment Needed

Here is your big chance to please the XYL by putting some order to the shack — especially if you forgot about Valentine’s Day — again! Hi Hi.

I will buy some of the stuff that you don’t use and that you will probably never need.

I, on the other hand, “really” need the following:

  • MFJ 269 Pro Antenna Analyser or Equivalent Model
  • HF In-line SWR and POWER Meter
  • Current Balun, 1:1
  • Soldering Station

OCVMRC April Meeting

The April 2018 meeting of the OVMRC will take place on 18 April at 19h00, in studio 5 of CSTM.

This month there will be a mini-flea market and general socializing, so bring your stuff to sell/swap.  Decaf coffee and Timbits will be served.  Assistance with radio programming will be available as well.

** New Entrance Instructions for our Meetings **

We have new instructions for parking and entering our Studio 5 meeting room at the Science and Technology Museum.  Entrance to the premises will now be directly into Studio 5. The Door will be marked OVMRC. Refer to map below showing the south side of the Museum premises. You will no longer need to go through security on the back entrance of the Museum.

Special 60th Anniversary OVMRC Shirt Order

We are placing a group order for an OVMRC Shirt personalized with Name (first) and Call Sign for OVMRC Club members.

So far, 25 Club members have signed up to order a shirt at the meeting on the 18th.

All orders must be in by November 1st so we can place the group order promptly.

Wanted: Space Age Components

Wanted – Space Age Components, Sputnik that is, vacuum tube era bits and pieces. I need everything from BC radios to whatever. Doesn’t have to work, just be of that vintage. In particular, 455 kHz IF transformers and power transformers. All chassis accepted.
